PROJEKT: CLUBHOUSE

Dear Ben,

I forgot that I was odd numbers, and actually first titled this letter ‘104′ until I realized that wasn’t the correct number. Wait, that’s not right, I’m even numbers, not odd! Oh what do you know, we have two 103 posts. Oh whoopsies. Don’t worry, I’ll fix them to their appropriate numbers. So this post should really be 106.

About your school situtation, I only have 5 words of consoling advice to offer you:

Hah, you’re still in school.

But I have a question, what time do you usually get out of school? I mean, if you got home late – which was 1.30 – then… how early do you get to school? I’m very curious. Mine is was from 7.15 in the morning to 2.15 in the afternoon. Not too bad.

Moving on, I figure it’s been much too long since my last obsession of the brain. So here isn’t another one.

I have soccer camp in about an hour, and I need to start getting ready for it, but I don’t want to. It makes my legs hurt and we’re learning this new type of ‘zone’ defense, much different from the man-to-man defense that we’re used to, and it’s incredibly hard to learn. Except everyone else seems to get it just fine, and it’s only me whose having trouble. Oh well, I hope I get it by tomorrow. I’m not even sure if I’ll try out for soccer next year, because I sort of don’t want to go through the embarrassment of getting cut. I think I will, and if I do get cut, I’ll just go join the comedy acts.

Psst. I was just teasing before.

THIS WEEKS OBSESSION:

So you all have heard about my little clubhouse? Well it’s been the only thing I can think about lately – because i’m revamping it! It’s going to be my little project for hopefully, no longer than 3 weeks. There are three phases to it: Phase I will be to clear it all out, clean it up, debuggify it, rid it of all the furniture, etc. Phase II will be painting it, and Phase III will be furnishing it. I’ll post pictures to keep you guys updated. Oh and project is spelled projekt because I felt like it. That and I secretly think it looks cool.

So that is my obsession of the week. Oh and Ben, I think we should make a new rule. Since we’re doing letters every other day, I say they cannot be shorter than 500 words, not including the story. Unless you have some exams or something, then I can be lenient. Does that sound okay? We’ve been having so many short letters lately, (not just you, me, too)(whoa rhyme), so I figure this is an easy way to make them a bit more lengthier.

Anyways, I’m trying to decide what would go well for my mural. I really like your tree idea, and I like my boat idea. I thought about doing both, but then that would be a little too hectic… yes? I’m not sure. Good thing that’s not until Phase II, but time is running out.

READERS: Do you think Carla should paint both of the scenes she likes on the two long walls, or just one? If the latter, then which one?

I’m sorry this letter isn’t as juicy as my other ones, but I just got back from soccer, and I’m extremely tired.

P.P.S. “One of them doesn’t have powers!” Matty shouted at Lourde. Lourde spun around, confused about who was talking at first.

“Excuse me?” he managed to say, before finding Matty.

“They both can’t have powers. They’ve only been here for a few days! I’ve been here for three years and nobody in my group ever got powers.” He crossed his arms, trying to display authority.

“It is very unlikely,” Lourde responded, “but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.”
